Child friendly cafes in Vietnam

Hanoi

Coffeebeans

Are you looking for a child friendly café in Hanoi? Head for Joma Bakery Café. They serve good coffee, delicious muffins and a small play area on the second floor. Joma cafes can be found in Hanoi, Vientiane and Luang Prabang. Their mission is to be recognized for quality fresh food, specialty coffee and social responsibility equally. A taste of home in a much-sought family atmosphere. I must say, they do a good job!

Kids: My kids were fond of the muffins, and the play area of course.

Open: Daily from 7 am – 9pm

Where: #54 To Ngoc Van, Tay Ho District, Hanoi 11000

La Place, Hanoi

Opposite St Joseph Cathedral, in a quiet alleyway, La Place is a little child friendly café. In the small room upstairs the tables are covered with paper placemats and boxes of crayons.  Kids can draw pictures while they are waiting for food.  The walls are covered in propaganda art and the menu includes good coffees, iced shakes, and a mix of Vietnamese and Western food.

Kids:  If they get bored they can draw pictures on the tables with the crayons provided!

Open: Daily 7.30am – 22.30pm

Where: 4  Au Trieu, Hanoi
