What comes to mind when you think of Latin America? Jungle and mountains? Tropical islands? Impressive Mayan ruins? Old colonial towns? Llamas and alpacas? Salsa, merengue and tango? Machu Picchu? The mighty Amazon river? Palm beaches? Banana plantations? Crocodiles, frogs and hummingbirds? Carnival? ... Adventure!
Latin America is perhaps not the most obvious continent to travel with children. Latin America is a continent of contrasts. But it has - perhaps because of that fact - much to offer adventurous families!
